Case study Proof that the event industry can thrive online in these COVID times

RX, previously Reed Exhibitions, is part of RELX, a global provider of information-based analytics and decision tools for professional and business customers. When the global pandemic struck in 2020 RX had to postpone its travel shows.

It was with this in mind that RX Africa launched its digital event, World Travel Market Africa, part of Travel Week Virtual (ATW Virtual).

RX knew that with online events being a relatively new approach, they'd have to provide their exhibitors and stakeholders with key performance data that they could trust.

In response to COVID and market changes, ABC had developed industry-agreed standards for Digital Events providing this trusted data. RX was therefore keen to work with ABC to be the first to undertake an audit to these new standards.
