The Motor Accident Commission (MAC) is the most recent advertiser to leverage the power of 3D with their latest "Mobile Phone - You Can Live Without It" campaign. Initially supplying their TVC in 2D, the ad was converted to 3D to maximise impact and engagement.
Road Safety Marketing Manager Richard Blackwell commented With people connected to their phones 24/7, we needed to re-invigorate the issue and show people how dangerous it could be to divide your attention between the road and the phone. 3D cinema was the perfect opportunity for us to make text messages, social media and phone calls appear before our audience's very eyes and demonstrate in an engaging way how distracting they could be.
