TORONTO (September 21, 2015) - Breakthrough Entertainment's new crime series, Blood & Water, is making its international debut at MIPCOM. Produced by Breakthrough, Blood & Water is a tightly-scripted thriller wrapped in a compelling, season long mystery.

Scheduled to air in Canada on Rogers' OMNI TV in the fall, Blood & Water (8 X 30 / 4 x 60'), tells the story of homicide detective, Josephine Jo Bradley as she confronts her own past while trying to solve the murder of Charles Xie. Abandoned by her family and adopted as a toddler, Jo has struggled with identity issues her entire life. However, she never expected her mysterious past to come full circle when a brutal murder case leads her on a dangerous personal journey. To track down the remorseless killer, Jo will not only be forced to compromise her own morals, but to uncover long-lost family secrets that may have been better off buried.
