Cambridge, UK, 28 August 2014: Adder Technology, the high performance keyboard, video and mouse (KVM) specialist, will be showcasing a host of new products at its stand at BIRTV in Beijing this week. The new products include the ADDERLink Infinity 1002 KVM switch, the CCS-PRO4 professional KM switch and the ADDERLink X-DVI Pro DL extender.
The products all form part of the company's high performance KVM range and are ideal for use in the broadcasting and post production environments.
The IP-based ADDERLink Infinity 1002 features dual port functionality which adds redundant network operation and the opportunity for network teaming. The product's single link, single head make it ideal for use in video intensive applications, such as broadcasting and post-production, while the added redundancy is a critical requirement in high-reliability environments such as command and control.
Based upon the ADDERLink Infinity 1000, the 1002 includes all the same features, such as video encoding, as well as enhanced functionality like the a port for fibre connection which ensures that signals can be extended over great distances
John Halksworth, senior product manager, Adder Technology, says: We will also be revealing the Adder CCS-PRO4 KM switch that provides an intuitive way for users to switch between disparate systems. It can be more easily integrated into an operator's workspace, enhancing the ergonomics of the environment and creating greater space by eliminating desk clutter.
The CCS-PRO4 also features a network port that has inherent benefits for remote access and management of devices. In this way, users can easily determine which port is in use and switch remotely if needed. In addition, firmware upgrades can be quickly completed, which is a distinct benefit for applications that feature many such devices.
The final product to be shown at the event, is the ADDERLink X-DVI Pro DL extender. It features full dual link resolution capability up to 2560x1600 and can transmit a dual link video stream with audio over a single CATx cable, up to 50 metres. The extender also offers USB True Emulation and can be used in a multitude of applications.
Visit Adder Technology at stand 8B68 at BIRTV from 27 to 30 August in Beijing.
