Extension of the MinDig TV Extra digital terrestrial television offer - - M3 channel will be available for all MinDig TV users during the Christmas season
MinDig TV Extra Basic package will be extended by D1 channel on December 1, 2013, furthermore M3 channel will be launched by December 20 in the Family package. As of January 1, 2014 further changes will be executed: PRO4 channel will be replaced by Super TV2 in the Family package, Dorcel will be available in the Basic package instead of the Family package and the distribution of Private Spice will be discontinued.
MinDig TV Extra program line-up will be extended in December, 2013, instead of 31 programs 32 will be available altogether on the digital terrestrial television platform with unchanged subscription fees and conditions.
The changes are the followings:
December 1, 2013: MinDig TV Extra Basic package extends by the D1 channel
December 20, 2013: M3 distribution will be launched in the Family package
January 1, 2014: PRO4 channel will be replaced by Super TV2 in the Family package, Dorcel will be available in the Basic package instead of the Family package and the distribution of Private Spice will be discontinued.
M3 channel will be available without a subscription fee for all MinDig TV and MinDig TV Extra users between December 20, 2013 and January 5, 2014.
MinDig TV offering free-to-air channels and the subscription-based MinDig TV Extra services are available countrywide with a rooftop or indoor antenna and a set-top-box. Due to the network developments in November 2013, the full digital television service portfolio of Antenna Hung ria can be received from 90 transmission sites with almost the same 99% population coverage. The number of free-to-air MinDig TV households grew by several hundred thousand in the past months; MinDig TV Extra as the fourth largest domestic pay-TV service has 130 thousand subscribers presently.
Regarding the MinDig TV and MinDig TV Extra services, further major infrastructure developments are expected next spring; new capacities will be available enabling the further increase in the number of available television channels and new services to expand the product portfolio.
