29/09/2014
The upgrade to its offering saw TARR deploy Appear TV's Universal Picture Perfect Transcoding Hardware integrated into the XC5000 Video Processing Platform to deploy 24 new channels for Multiscreen delivery. In addition new DVB-S/S2 satellite demodulators were added at its downlink site along with new Appear TV transcoding solutions to add additional broadcast channels to the TARR TV line-up. The installation was managed and integrated with existing TARR infrastructure by HFC Technics, a highly valued Appear TV business partner and experienced broadcast system integrator in Hungary.
The launch of the new TARR Kft. multiscreen service and system upgrade enables us to continue to provide our consumers with access to our content on any device via innovative technology.
