Modus FX has teamed up with Jellyfish Pictures, a visual effects company based in Great Britain, to complete development of digital effects for an unprecedented production,America: The Story of Us, a twelve-episode documentary series covering the history of United States from 1607 until now.
This larger-than-life project depicts significant events, and identifies key players who shaped the United States, by using breathtaking landscapes scattered throughout the United States. The series also explores the triumph of technology over the environment from railways to the enormity of skyscrapers and the conquest of space - all through the use of stunning digital effects.
Combining a dramatic element with the reconstruction of historical facts,America: The Story of Us is produced by Nutopia Productions and will be airing on The History Channel on Sunday, April 25th, at 9pm.
