ESPN is looking at using a new camera angle for college football games.
The Pylon Cam is a goal line pylon that houses multiple cameras (with multiple angles) in order to bring viewers brand new perspectives around the goal line during the game.
The network, in consultation with the NFL, has been in continued development of the Pylon Cam since it debuted in last years College Football Playoff Championship in January.
ESPN will continue testing the angle on August 24 during the preseason NFL Monday Night Football telecast.
The network may also look to utilize the Pylon Cam during some college football telecasts this season.
