
DPP Committed to Security Program Underscores Growing Global Importance of Cybersecurity in Media-Content Supply Chains
Dallas, TX - May 30, 2019 - Ooyala, a leader in content supply chain solutions, has secured the important Production and Broadcast marks within the DPPs Committed to Security program.
The DPP is the media industry's business network, and brings together content companies and technology companies to solve problems and create opportunities, in multiple areas including technical work on cybersecurity and metadata.
The DPP has been committed to advancing the adoption of common global specifications for media interoperability, said Bea Alonso, Ooyala's Director of Global Product Marketing. The DPP launched the Committed to Security program in October 2017 to help technology providers advance, hone and demonstrate their commitment to security best-practices. Participants are assessed according to a rigorous set of controls specifically applied within the categories of Production, including policies and procedures, physical security, incident planning, recovery management, IT security, business continuity and other areas; and Broadcast, including documentation & testing, authentication and controls.
