A citizen in Ningbo spotted a family of four common moorhens at the pond near the library of Ningbo University on June 25. The common moorhen is a kind of bird listed among the 2012 list of endangered species by the International Union for Conservation of Nature and Natural Resources (IUCN) and among the 2008 national list for wildlife deserving protection for economic or scientific research.
