Omnia.9 processing now available in HD Multicast and GV2 transmitters

Cleveland, Ohio (April 11, 2023) - Telos Alliance , trusted global leader in broadcast audio for more than three decades, is pleased to announce the Omnia for Nautel processing platform as the latest collaboration between the two companies in their continued partnership.

By incorporating Omnia.9 processing and Livewire AoIP in their HD Multicast all-in-one solution for HD Radio and newly-unveiled GV2 Series transmitters, Nautel has advanced their vision of a completely integrated airchain, simplifying installation and providing key technical improvements.

By eliminating hardware requirements, including physical audio I/O and off-air receivers to adjust delay, we have achieved a pure software implementation of HD Radio and audio processing, said Philipp Schmid, Nautel CTO. This approach simplifies the signal path, removes FM HD blend drift, and allows a graceful changeover between main and backup air chains.
