Abu Dhabi, UAE 11 February 2025 Space42 (ADX: SPACE42), the UAE-based AI-powered SpaceTech company with global reach, is set to showcase an extensive portfolio of advanced security and defense solutions at the International Defense Exhibition (IDEX) from 17 to 21 February 2025 at the ADNEC Centre in Abu Dhabi.
This marks the company's first participation at the world's premier defense event following the merger of Bayanat and Yahsat, combining multi-orbit satellite communications, AI-driven geospatial intelligence, and secure connectivity into a single powerhouse. As defense operations become increasingly reliant on real-time insights, autonomous systems, and resilient communications, Space42 is pioneering next-generation solutions for security forces, emergency responders, and defense agencies. Redefining the Future of Defense Technology
At IDEX 2025, Space42 will showcase how its cutting-edge innovations empower space and defense operations. Visitors can explore:
Multi-orbit and multi-system satellite capabilities, providing fast, reliable, and secure communications for defense and security applications.
High-Altitude Platform Systems (HAPS) by Space42's subsidiary Mira Aerospace, enabling persistent airborne Earth Observation and high-bandwidth connectivity.
Autonomous UAVs and robotics, including chemical-sensing dog robots and advanced detection sensors, featured at the Ministry of Defense's Chemical, Biological, Radiological, Nuclear, and Explosives (CBRNE) Hub.
AI-driven geographic modeling and simulation systems, enhancing defense planning, threat detection, and emergency response.
Powering Secure Global Communications for Defense
Space42's participation at IDEX follows several milestone achievements over the past few months, including the successful launches of Thuraya 4 and Foresight-2, which will advance Space42's secure satellite communication and Earth Observation capabilities.
The company also signed an AED 18.7 billion contract with the UAE Government to provide critical, secure communication services for a further 17 years beyond 2026 until 2043, as well as to develop two advanced satellites, Al Yah 4 and Al Yah 5.
