KDDI announced the financial results for the first half of the fiscal year ending March 2023.

Summary In the first half of the fiscal year ending March 31, 2023, consolidated operating revenue increased 4.4% year on year, to 2,740.8 billion. Consolidated operating income was down 2.5%, to 558.5 billion due to the correspondence with the communication failure and the impact of rising fuel prices.

Profit for the period attributable to owners of the parent decreased 2.0% year on year, to 354.4 billion.

We have achieved 50.8% of our consolidated operating income target for the full fiscal year, meaning that we are well on progress.
