Stardraw has announced a unique symbol update as part of the monthly update process available to all current subscribers. By popular request, Stardraw has made available the component elements used to create their high quality product symbols in the Block Schematic, Rack Layout and Pictorial Schematic environments of Stardraw Audio, Stardraw AV and Stardraw Radio.

The update includes more than 500 symbols of buttons, switches, knobs, connectors, logos, meters and much more, in fact all of the elements required to create the highest quality product symbols in line with Stardraws own standards. They have been created to meet all of the criteria currently used in the production of Stardraw libraries and conform to layer and drawing specifications.

According to marketing director, Rob Robinson, this is a significant enhancement. "By making the component symbols available, we are effectively giving our subscribers even greater scope to customise Stardraw to their own requirements. Although our library of manufacturer symbols now totals some 35,000 across the suite of applications, and continues to grow each month, customers will always want to generate their own symbols. Having access to the same component symbols that we use will enable them to create their own drawings to the same high standards as those we would generate at Stardraw."

"Of course," continued Robinson, "these tools are intended to complement our Symbols-by-Request service through which we prioritize the creation of new symbols according to what our users ask for. We have recently enhanced this service by offering it online, but of course we have to gather data from manufacturers; Most respond very quickly, but there is an inherent and unavoidable delay in the process. If you want high quality symbols in a hurry, you now have all the tools to make it both quick and easy."
