Softel announced today that it will take part in the TV of Tomorrow (TVoT) showtaking place in New York City on December 10th, 2012. Now in its sevenths year, TVoT is a dialog-driven event that aims to engage all the players of the rapidly changing world of TV interactivity. This year's event will aim to deliver productive exchanges of ideas to identify current trends and explore the future of interactivity and will offer expert-led workshops to help attendees acquire practical skills for rapid implementation.
Softel has long standing expertise in interactivity with innovative solutions that allow viewers to interact via a set-top-box, tablet, mobile, or smart TV. Its versatile platform, MediaSphere Bridge, has recently been expanded to offer a broader range of content synchronization technologies. The system connects to broadcast automation from any major manufacturer and, thanks to Softel's unique relationships with multiple Automatic Content Recognition (ACR) system providers, is now able to offer either in-broadcast triggers or ACR solutions to facilitate interactivity between the TV and smart TVs or second screens.
At TVoT NYC, Softel will be showcasing MediaSphere Bridge and demonstrating how the company's extensive knowledge of broadcast TV automation systems has enabled the unique flexibility this platform offers.
We understand automation, said Sam Pemberton, Softel CEO. We have decades of experience working with every major automation system vendor, and our expertise in ancillary data triggering has also allowed us to understand and design a variety of target ecosystems to suit the myriad of ecosystems we work with at customer facilities . Through the MediaSphere product lines latest feature set we offer comprehensive solutions for all forms of interactivity. We can deliver the best content synchronization technology and provide the viewer the most natural and compelling opportunities to interact with programming, and advanced advertising.
