FX Leads Critics Choice Television Awards Nominations

The Broadcast Television Journalists Association announced Wednesday the nominations for the fourth annual Critics' Choice Television Awards. FX led all networks with 19 nominations.

Other networks with big hauls included HBO with 18 nominations, CBS with 16 nominations and Fox with 10 nominations.

The top nominated programs are The Big Bang Theory, Fargo, The Good Wife, Masters of Sex and The Normal Heart with five nominations each.

The Americans, Breaking Bad, Orange Is the New Black and Sherlock: His Last Vow scored four nominations each.

As television journalists, BTJA members live and breathe TV, and we're excited to share our top picks from an immensely rich and diverse year of programming, said BTJA president Joey Berlin. 2014 has been a successful year for cable and broadcast as well as content on platforms such as Netflix and Hulu, and we look forward to celebrating all of these amazing shows and performances on June 19.

The show will be broadcast live on The CW on June 19 and will be hosted by Cedric the Entertainer.
