Positiver Ausblick - Umsatzwachstum 2014 von 5 bis 7% erwartet
Der internationale Automobil- und Industriezulieferer Schaeffler hat seine Wachstumsstrategie auch im Jahr 2013 erfolgreich fortgesetzt. W hrungsbereinigt stieg der Umsatz um 2,9 Prozent. Die Sparte Automotive wuchs w hrungsbereinigt sogar um 8,6 Prozent. Zugleich gingen die Ums tze der Sparte Industrie, die rd. 27 Prozent des Gesamtumsatzes der Schaeffler Gruppe ausmachten, w hrungsbereinigt um 8,1 Prozent zur ck. Die beiden Sparten Automotive und Industrie haben sich im Gesch ftsjahr sehr unterschiedlich entwickelt. W hrend das Automotive-Gesch ft erneut deutlich st rker als der Markt gewachsen ist, lagen die Ums tze der Sparte Industrie marktbedingt unter dem Niveau des Vorjahres , sagte der Vorstandsvorsitzende der Schaeffler AG, Klaus Rosenfeld. Unter Ber cksichtigung der negativen W hrungsumrechnungseffekte lag der Umsatz der Schaeffler Gruppe im Jahr 2013 bei 11,2 Milliarden EUR, was einem Zuwachs von 0,7 Prozent entsprach.
Ergebnisqualit t gehalten - Starker Free Cash Flow
Bereinigt um einmalige Sondereffekte lag das Ergebnis vor Finanz-, Beteiligungser-gebnis und Ertragsteuern (EBIT) im Jahr 2013 mit 1.410 Millionen EUR auf Vorjahresniveau. Die angepasste EBIT-Marge lag mit 12,6 Prozent dementsprechend unver ndert auf hohem Niveau (Vj.: 12,7 Prozent). Die Einmalaufwendungen betreffen Personalstrukturma nahmen in H he von 48 Millionen EUR sowie die bilanzielle Vorsorge im Zusammenhang mit dem EU-Kartellverfahren in H he von 380 Millionen EUR. Inklusive der Sonderaufwendungen lag das EBIT bei 982 Millionen EUR (Vj.: 1.413 Millionen EUR) und die EBIT-Marge bei 8,8 Prozent.
Auf dieser Basis betrug das Konzernergebnis nach nicht beherrschenden Anteilen 865 Millionen EUR (Vj.: 870 Millionen EUR). Darin enthalten ist ein anteiliges Ergebnis aus der Beteiligung an der Continental AG in H he von 801 Millionen EUR (Vj.: 554 Millionen EUR), wovon 187 Millionen EUR aus dem Verkauf von 1,95 Prozent der Anteile der Schaeffler Gruppe an der Continental AG im dritten Quartal 2013 stammten.
Der Free Cash Flow betrug 629 Millionen EUR und verbesserte sich damit um 248 Millionen EUR gegen ber dem Vorjahreswert (Vj.: 381 Millionen EUR). Im Free Cash Flow ist eine Dividende in H he von 162 Millionen EUR aus der Beteiligung an der Continental AG enthalten. Die Ausgaben f r Sachanlagen und immaterielles Verm gen beliefen sich auf 572 Millionen EUR und entsprachen damit dem geplanten Wert von rd. 5 Prozent des Umsatzes.
Im Gesch ftsjahr 2013 hat die Schaeffler Gruppe weitere Ma nahmen zur Optimierung der Kapitalstruktur umgesetzt. Mit diesen Ma nahmen konnten die Finanzierungskosten weiter reduziert werden. Zudem hat das Unternehmen seine Finanz-schulden durch Sondertilgungen aus frei verf gbaren Mitteln und Erl sen aus dem Verkauf von rd. 2 Prozent der gehaltenen Aktien an der Continental AG um 1,1 Milli-arden EUR auf 6,3 Milliarden EUR reduziert. Die Netto-Finanzschulden (Finanz-schulden abz glich Zahlungsmittel und Zahlungsmittel quivalente) verringerten sich dementsprechend auf rund 5,9 Milliarden EUR (Vj.: 6,8 Milliarden EUR). Auf dieser Basis lag der Verschuldungsgrad, definiert als Verh ltnis von Netto-Finanzschulden zu angepasstem EBITDA, zum 31. Dezember 2013 bei 2,6 (Vj.: 3,2).
Die Besch ftigtenzahl zum Stichtag 31. Dezember 2013 lag bei 78.559 und damit um 2.460 Mitarbeiter bzw. 3,2 Prozent ber dem Vorjahreswert. Neueinstellungen erfolgten insbesondere in der Fertigung und den fertigungsnahen Bereichen, vor allem in den Regionen Asien/Pazifik, Nordamerika und Europa, hier speziell in Mitteleuropa.
Organisations- und F hrungsstruktur neu ausgerichtet - Programm One Schaeffler etabliert
Um die sich bietenden Wachstumsm glichkeiten noch besser zu nutzen, hat die Schaeffler Gruppe ihre Organisations- und F hrungsstruktur neu ausgerichtet. Der im Laufe des Jahres 2013 neu entwickelten Zielstruktur liegt eine durchg ngige Mat-rixorganisation zugrunde, die drei Dimensionen umfasst: Sparten, Funktionen und Regionen. Zum 1. Januar 2014 wurde die regionale Aufstellung der Schaeffler Gruppe angepasst. Angesichts seiner wachsenden weltwirtschaftlichen Bedeutung wurde China als eigenst ndige Region etabliert. Zugleich wurden Korea, Japan und die L nder S dostasiens in einer neuen Region Asien/Pazifik zusammengefasst. Indien ist nun Bestandteil der neu geschaffenen Region Europa , die neben Deutschland, die EU-L nder, den Nahen Osten, Afrika und Russland umfasst. Dar ber hinaus wurden die bisherigen Regionen Nord- und S damerika zu einer Region Americas zusammengefasst. Die Regionen werden zuk nftig von regionalen CEOs gef hrt, die dem Erweiterten Vorstand angeh ren. Damit reflektiert die Zusammensetzung des Erweiterten Vorstands alle drei Dimensionen der Matrixorganisation.
Im November 2013 wurde zudem das Programm One Schaeffler gestartet, das - ausgehend von dem seit Jahren etablierten kontinuierlichen Verbesserungsprozess - die 20 weltweit wichtigsten Verbesserungsinitiativen f r die Schaeffler Gruppe umfasst. Ein wesentliches gemeinsames Ziel der Initiativen ist es, Strukturen und Prozesse innerhalb des Unternehmens zu harmonisieren und st rker als bisher zu integrieren, um so interne Synergien zu heben und das Unternehmen noch effizienter aufzustellen.
