2025 marks 110 years of creativity and innovation at Technicolor Group, and we're kicking things off as we mean to go on! MPC are celebrating the roaring success of Mufasa: The Lion King and sharing the epic craft behind this magnificent tale. The Mill invite you on a vibrant adventure, transporting you from 2D animation to real-life with Renault Symbioz E-Tech . Mikros Animation are back to work their magic on the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem sequel. Technicolor Games are gearing up for their first event of the year, and to top it all off, we've received 7 nominations across film, animation & commercial at the VES Awards!

MPC Mufasa: The Lion King stormed into theatres on December 20! Our extraordinary team at MPC had the honour of collaborating with director Barry Jenkins and the Disney team to bring this stunning story to audiences worldwide. A huge congratulations to Adam Valdez, Audrey FERRARA, Georgie Duncan, Benny Milligan, and all of our phenomenal artists, production crew, and software team for crafting this remarkable film.

We're proud to showcase MPC's exceptional artistry which brought the infamous Taka to life in Mufasa: The Lion King.

MPC's acclaimed Character Lab team meticulously crafted 118+ unique animals for the film, including Mufasa, Scar, Pumbaa, Timon, and Rafiki. Each character was built from the ground up, starting with bone and muscle structure, and brought to life with incredibly detailed fur and realistic textures. Creating lifelike fur was a significant challenge for MPC's team, but their in-house grooming system, Loma, helped achieve photorealism in each character's appearance.
