PLAYING BRA SOL IN GENERATIONS' The Generations: The Legacy actor Mlungisi Ndebele portrays a jailbird, Bra Sol who terrorises people in the outside world.

Ndebele tells TshisaLIVE that the Generations character grew on him and soapie fans recognise him in public.

The character is forever growing, it's a speed train. You can tell from society, the attitude from the viewers towards me as an actor, everywhere I go they call me by my character name.

He adds that there's a huge difference between him and Bra Sol as he's humble, spriritual and puts people first.

I'm a humble, spiritual person and put people first, unlike Bra Sol who is a kingpin, mastermind, whatever he says goes. The character itself is strong. Bra Sol makes money in prison and makes the outside world shake while he's in prison. I'm not like that.

Ndebele is inspired by Hollywood legends Morgan Freeman and Denzel Washington. He also hopes to plough back to aspiring actors in the country soon as he feels there's a lot he needs to offer in different communities.

The publication adds that the actor is also in e.tv's telenovela Isitha: The Enemy as Dr Sibane. He admits it wasn't difficult to adjust to the role in Isitha as a humble person helping the needy with medical attention.

MLUNGISI NDEBELE: TV ROLES The Generations: The Legacy actor Mlungisi Ndebele previously starred e.tv's House of Zwide as Dorothy's (Brenda Mukwevho) husband.

In the previous episode, Dorothy shocked Molefe (Motlatsi Mafatshe) by revealing that she's married and declined Molefe's marriage proposal.

Molefe also admitted he didn't have enough money for lobola and proposed to pay her lobola in installments.

Mafatshe's character was heartbroken over Dorothy's secret and devastated as he saw a future with her.

Viewers of the e.tv telenovela were also surprised that Dorothy two-timed Molefe as she appears sweet and innocent.

Molefe was so determined to marry her that he began a shoe business to raise funds for Dorothy's (Brenda Mukwevho) lobola.

In the current storyline, Dorothy has divorced her husband, has a baby with Molefe who recently paid lobola for her. The pair named their son after Molefe's sister and Funani's late son.

TVSA reports that Ndebele has also portrayed roles in SABC's Uzalo, as well as Mzansi Magic's canned telenovelas, Gomora and Isibaya
