Die Schaeffler Gruppe hat ihren Erfolgskurs im Gesch ftsjahr 2014 eindrucksvoll fortgesetzt. Erstmals wurde ein Umsatz von mehr als 12,1 Mrd. Euro erzielt. Dies entspricht einem Wachstum von 8,2% gegen ber dem Vorjahr. Ohne negative W hrungsumrechnungseffekte betrug das Wachstum 9,0%. Das operative Ergebnis (EBIT) erh hte sich auf 1.523 Mio. Euro (Vj.: 1.008 Mio. Euro). Die EBIT-Marge hat sich damit auf 12,6% verbessert (Vj.: 9,0%). Das Konzernergebnis betrug 654 Mio. Euro.
Unsere positive Umsatz- und Ergebnisentwicklung zeigt einmal mehr die hohe Leistungskraft der Schaeffler Gruppe als global aufgestellter, integrierter Automobil- und Industriezulieferer , erl utert der Vorstandsvorsitzende Klaus Rosenfeld. Im Jahr 2014 haben wir unsere Investitionen in neue Technologien sowie in die Erweiterung unseres weltweiten Produktionsnetzwerkes weiter verst rkt. Wir haben damit die Basis f r zuk nftiges Wachstum gelegt , f hrt Rosenfeld weiter aus.
Sparte Automotive w chst ber Markt - Sparte Industrie zur ck auf Wachstumskurs
Mit einem Umsatzwachstum von 10,0% im Vergleich zum Vorjahr (w hrungsbereinigt +10,7%) bertraf die Schaeffler-Sparte Automotive erneut deutlich das Wachstum der weltweiten Produktionsst ckzahlen f r Pkw und leichte Nutzfahrzeuge. Die Sparte Automotive profitierte insbesondere auf den bedeutenden Absatzm rkten in China und den USA von der unver ndert hohen Nachfrage nach ihren Produkten.
Das Industriegesch ft konnte im Gesch ftsjahr 2014 um 3,3% zulegen (w hrungsbereinigt +4,2%). Das st rkste Umsatzplus konnte in der Region Greater China verzeichnet werden, wo sich vor allem die hohe Nachfrage in den Branchen Schienenfahrzeuge, Erneuerbare Energien und Produktionsmaschinen positiv auswirkte.
Alle Unternehmensbereiche und Regionen trugen zum Wachstum bei. Das h chste Umsatzwachstum erzielte die Schaeffler Gruppe in der Region Greater China mit einer Steigerung von 29% gegen ber dem Vorjahr, gefolgt von der Region Asien/Pazifik, wo der Umsatz um 7% zunahm. Die Regionen Europa und Americas verzeichneten im Vergleich zum Gesch ftsjahr 2013 ein Umsatzwachstum von 6% bzw. 5% p.a.

Die Zahl der neuen Patentanmeldungen verdeutlicht die Innovationskraft der Schaeffler Gruppe. Im Jahr 2014 hat das Unternehmen 2.518 neue Patente in Deutschland angemeldet. Damit belegt die Schaeffler Gruppe erneut Rang 2 unter den innovativs-ten Unternehmen in Deutschland. Die Aufwendungen f r Forschung und Entwicklung stiegen im Berichtsjahr auf 626 Mio. Euro oder 5,2% vom Umsatz.
Investitionen deutlich erh ht - Free Cash Flow positiv
Insgesamt hat die Schaeffler Gruppe ihre Investitionen deutlich gesteigert. Im Berichtsjahr wurden 857 Mio. Euro (Vj: 572 Mio. Euro) in neue Produkte und Technologien sowie in die Erweiterung des globalen Produktionsnetzwerkes investiert. Dies entspricht einem Anstieg von rund 50% gegen ber dem Vorjahr. Die Capex-Quote (Investitionsauszahlungen in % vom Umsatz) betrug 7,1% (Vj.: 5,1%). Neben der Einweihung des neuen Produktionsstandorts in Uljanowsk, Russland, wurden die Werke in Taicang und Nanjing, beide China, und Puebla, Mexiko, weiter ausgebaut.
Der Cash Flow aus laufender Gesch ftst tigkeit vor Einmaleffekten betrug 1,3 Mrd. Euro (Vj: 1,0 Mrd. Euro). Die Einmaleffekte beliefen sich auf 371 Mio. Euro. Per Saldo ergab sich f r 2014 ein positiver Free Cash Flow in H he von 48 Mio. Euro (Vj: 473 Mio. Euro).
Globale Pr senz ausgebaut - 4.000 neue Mitarbeiter weltweit
Die Mitarbeiterzahl betrug zum 31. Dezember 2014 rund 82.300 und lag damit um rund 4.000 Mitarbeiter oder rund 5% ber dem Vorjahreswert. In Deutschland waren zum Stichtag insgesamt rund 30.500 Mitarbeiterinnen und Mitarbeiter besch ftigt (Vj: rund 29.400). Das entspricht einem Aufbau von rund 1.100 Besch ftigten. Am Ende des Gesch ftsjahres 2014 standen in der Schaeffler Gruppe weltweit rund 2.700 Auszubildende bzw. rund 3% der Belegschaft in einem Ausbildungsverh ltnis. Die Zahl der Auszubildenden hat sich damit um rund 5% im Vergleich zum Vorjahr erh ht.
Strategiekonzept Mobilit t f r morgen - Weiteres Wachstum f r 2015 geplant
Die Schaeffler Gruppe rechnet wie in den Vorjahren auch f r das Jahr 2015 mit einem w hrungsbereinigten Umsatzwachstum in H he von 5 bis 7%. Das Unternehmen prognostiziert eine Capex-Quote in H he von 6 bis 8% des Umsatzes. Der Konzern geht davon aus, auch in diesem Jahr eine operative Ergebnis-Marge (EBIT-Marge) in H he von 12 bis 13% zu erwirtschaften. F r das laufende Gesch ftsjahr rechnet die Schaeffler Gruppe mit einem positiven und im Vergleich zum Vorjahr verbesserten Free Cash Flow.
