Securing Premium Live Content and Detecting Unauthorized Leaks
NAGRA showcased its NAGRA NexGuard forensic watermarking on the AWS stand for premium live and VOD content, including high-profile sports events. This technology not only helps secure premium content but also detects unauthorized leaks.
Deepfake Detection
NAGRA also demonstrated deepfake detection, addressing the emerging threat in today's media landscape, and one that's expected to be highly prevalent in 2024 as 49% of the world's population head to the polls. This showed how NAGRA solutions can be used to protect authenticity as well as security.
Integration of Forensic Watermarking on the Eluvio Content Fabric for live
NAGRA collaborated with Eluvio to integrate forensic watermarking into the Eluvio Content Fabric for premium live content such as sports and live events. This industry-first integration enables the enforcement of viewing rights for premium content, ensuring secure, end-to-end, ultra high-quality, and low-cost streaming. By leveraging this technology, NAGRA aims to provide a comprehensive solution for content protection throughout the value chain.
Content Protection from Camera to Post-Production with Adobe's Frame.io
NAGRA's partnership with Adobe's Frame.io allows for the secure handling of sensitive pre-release content in remote collaboration workflows. By incorporating NAGRA NexGuard forensic watermarking, Frame.io Enterprise users can uniquely watermark each video asset, discouraging illegal copying or distribution. This feature extends to Camera to Cloud dailies, providing an added layer of security.

What's more, the collaboration and joint solution won an NAB Product of the Year award which recognizes the most significant and promising new products exhibited at the show. In the case of Frame.io and NAGRA, it demonstrates how our industry is bringing the same level of content protection to post-production as has been extensively used in downstream content distribution. This is especially key as we see more and more post-production activities using OTT to distribute content during processes such as localization and edit reviews.
