Mariner Introduces Simplified Receipt Management Solution with Paperless Lite

Minneapolis, MN - Mariner Software has introduced Paperless Lite, the lite version to its popular digital document manager, Paperless. Containing important features found in the full product, Paperless Lite allows users to scan, organize, and store any type of receipt.

Our Paperless customer base uses Paperless in many different ways, said Michael Wray, President of Mariner. Often users need a way to input and organize their growing receipt collection. Paperless Lite gives them a simple, yet powerful way of managing receipts. For less than $10, we think it's a great receipt only management solution.

Paperless Lite is designed to provide simple digital receipt management. The user can scan a receipt to create a digital record and store that record in the Paperless Lite Library. Containing the same OCR functionality as the full version, metadata can be automatically filled into predetermined fields. Organizing and retrieving is easy with the creation of Smart Collections which will automatically categorize digital receipt records that match specified criteria. This version of Paperless Lite does support the Fujitsu ScanSnap scanners, as well as any other scanner that is supported through Apple's Image Capture.

The new version of Paperless Lite is available for sale and for trial as a download only from the Mariner Software web site, and will sell for a limited time, introductory offer of $9.95USD. A Family 5 pack version is also available for a limited time, introductory price of $39.95USD. Paperless Lite requires Mac OS X 10.7 or higher. The Mac App Store version will be available in the near future and a Windows version of Paperless Lite is planned for release in early 2015.
