Actress Greteli de Swardt (Fincham) has revealed that she is expecting her first child with her husband Juan De Swardt. The Blood & Water actress detailed in an Instagram post what her emotions have been since she found out she was expecting.

I remember the first week after I found out that I was pregnant, I couldn't sleep at all. I was constantly stressing about what I'm putting in my mouth, what I'm doing with my body etc. The way I stressed that there wouldn't be a heartbeat at our first scan was insane. Then came the second scan & you fear other baby & birth defects. It never stops, she explained.

THE STRUGLES GRATELI FACED Greteli plays Reece Van Rensburg in the Netflix original Blood & Water her baby has had 12 flights, shot a whole movie AND series, sat through 13 weddings, moved twice (into a new home & out of an office space), attended multiple events, shoots and campaigns and travelled a lot in Cape Town for a show & attended two premiers .

The 21-year-old actress said her pregnancy has not been easy for her, It's such an incredible journey, but the fear of harming my baby is surreal .

Greteli said it took a lot for her to stop googling every symptom, It was hard to stop googling stuff. But I knew for every 1 thing I google, I stress about 7 other things. It was an unhealthy circle that had no positive outcome And after all- stress is the worst thing you can give to your baby .
