Espial Highlights Engaging Apps at CES with Games by TransGaming
Espial has partnered with pioneering games creator TransGaming at CES 2016.
OTTAWA, Ontario - December 17, 2015 - Transforming the viewing experience worldwide, Espial today announced exciting new applications for its G4 STB Client, based on RDK and HTML5, to be showcased at CES in Las Vegas next month. Espial has partnered with pioneering games creator TransGaming (TSX-V: TNG), enabling network operators to deliver immersive video user experiences to their subscribers to combat cord-cutting and increase revenue.
At CES in January, Espial will demonstrate TransGaming's Smart TV gaming suite. This portfolio of interactive entertainment includes GameTree TV, featuring family games and GameTree Casino.
The partnership between TransGaming and Espial heightens the living room based experience by offering of a new level of entertainment to Pay TV operators and Smart TV manufacturers worldwide, said Dennis Ensing, CEO TransGaming.
GameTree TV and GameTree Casino bring one of the hottest entertainment sectors to the TV with content that strongly appeals to Millennials and viewers of all ages, improving stickiness by giving subscribers added value from their video service provider.
Espial G4 Client enables Pay TV operators to introduce innovative apps, services and business models rapidly, said Jaison Dolvane, CEO Espial. TransGaming's portfolio of gaming and casino apps delivers high entertainment value for subscribers, and allows for new revenue opportunities for operators and manufacturers through app subscriptions, pay per use and in-app purchases. Bringing Transgaming apps to Espial's G4 Client demonstrates how an open platform based on RDK and HTML5 enables operators to leverage large existing development communities to quickly introduce new services.
