1802: Love Defies Time actor Vuyo Ngcukana took to his Instagram account to reveal that he's made his directorial debut on the 1 Magic show.

VUYO NGCUKANA: THE TRAINING WHEELS CAME OFF' The actor Vuyo Ngcukana, who is popularly known for his role as Schumacher in The Queen secured the role of Zuko in the isiXhosa telenovela 1802: Love Defies Time.
Ngcukana wrote on his Instagram on Thursday, 20 July: I'm beyond words, my gratitude to you can't be measured. You've opened the door to a dream, thank you.

Ngcukana, who is thrilled after reaching a new milestone in his career also thanked producer Lulu Hela and director Wandile Magadla for giving him the wings to take off into a whole new world.

-- HIS ROLE IN 1802: LOVE DEFIES TIME' The actor and director Vuyo Ngcukana, who plays Zuko in 1802: Love Defies Time played the character of Schumacher on The Queen for seven years.
IOL reports the show focuses on Khosi (played by Sikelelwa Vuyeleni), a young and talented doctor, stands on the cusp of a bright future in 2023. She is about to marry her soulmate Zuko (Vuyolwethu Ngcukana) and embark on a career of saving lives but little does she know that her destiny has yet to reveal itself.
The actor explained why his previous role in The Queen was so popular in an interview with Metro FM:
That's what people know. They've never met Vuyo. For seven years, the only person they know me to be is Schumacher, so that's what they relate to. The reason Schumacher became so popular is because he was so relatable to many people. Shu taught me that human beings are complex. I loved his tenacity, he never gave up.
