Nkosi and Shoki reflect on their improved financial fortunes thanks to Kopano, and Nkosi is even more determined to prove Funani wrong.

Rea finally admits to Isaac that she's been afraid to go to the doctor out of fear. Meanwhile, Nkosi finds Kopano's visit to Shoki a bit odd, but when Shoki explains the reason for the visit, he understands.

The Doctor sits with Rea and Isaac and tells them the way forward, Rea needs brain surgery to remove most of the tumor and then she'll have radiation and chemotherapy.

Neo rejects Mapula at the last moment and she accidentally outs Faith's involvement. He realises Mapula was meant to record everything, and Faith was going to use it to hurt Ona.

Sandile tells Neo that Faith wants to see him and reminds him to just fall on his sword. But Neo decides to turn the tables on Faith.

Neo plays Faith the recording and threatens to send it to Funani. Meanwhile Molefe enlists Ona and Keletso to help him raise funds for the gender reveal party.

Rea tells the family she needs to have surgery to remove the tumour, and Isaac has to comfort Ona who is angry at the world for doing this to them.

Rea gives Isaac a list of things to do in case she doesn't make it out of surgery. Funani learns about Rea's surgery and when Faith criticises him for going to the hospital, Funani tells her she's half the woman Rea is.

Funani and Nkosi clash at the hospital. Later, Funani tells Faith that Nkosi is immature and unreasonable while Nkosi tells Shoki that Funani is controlling and unreasonable.

Nkosi gets a call from a tense sounding Kopano who wants to meet for dinner. Meanwhile Keletso tells Molefe their planned raffle to raise money for the gender reveal has not taken off.

Nandipha wants Kopano to stop the mind games with Nkosi and bring him back on board, but Kopano reassures her Nkosi will beg to come back on his own.

The reality sets in for Dorothy and Molefe that they're about to have a son. Maria realises google can't teach her to cook and begs Mampho for help.

Nkosi has no problems with Maria and Mampho staying in the mansion till New Year it means more time for him to spend with Busi, but Shoki's not happy about this.

Pearl is happy about seeing Tiro again but then she starts to freak out that he might not find her attractive anymore. Mampho overhears Faith saying she doesn't want Maria and her in the house.

Faith extends an olive branch to Mampho and they begin spending more time together, and soon Shoki starts to feel left out by the two.

Pearl begs Laz to let her use the HoZ flat for the weekend but then Tiro tells Pearl that he's not coming home after all. When pressed by Laz, Tiro confesses he's met someone else and is breaking up with Pearl.
