Cantemo to Showcase Video Intelligence for Media Management at NAB 2018

Cantemo, a provider of next-generation media management solutions, is to showcase its hybrid-cloud media management platform, iconik, at NAB 2018, along with the latest version of Cantemo Portal, its flagship media asset management solution.

iconik is a hybrid-cloud based hub for managing, sharing and collaborating on media. It uses Artificial Video Intelligence to automatically tag content with timecode-based metadata upon ingestion by recognising even minute entities and objects.

Being cloud-based, and as part of Cantemos continuous delivery approach, iconik is in constant development with recent updates featuring improvements to the video intelligence workflow and image analytics. iconik now supports image and video analysis using AWS Rekognition, in addition to Googles Cloud Video Intelligence.

Central to updates ahead of NAB is increased hybrid cloud workflow support. iconik Enterprise is now certified to run on several well-known third-party cloud services. The platform is also able to integrate with a number of third-party applications including MatrixStore, the object storage platform from Object Matrix. The integration enables a hybrid cloud workflow, with iconik able to manage assets stored in the cloud and locally within MatrixStore.

iconik is built on the conviction that by bringing people together, they can achieve great things. Its about bridging the distance between creative minds to enhance collaboration, but also to reduce the complexity surrounding media management. By doing this, we hope that the creatives among us can produce better video content and, in turn, tell powerful stories.

Parham Azimi, CEO, Cantemo. At NAB Show in Las Vegas, Cantemo will be demonstrating the yet-to-be-released version 3.4 of Cantemo Portal. The latest update will feature improvements to review-and-approve workflows by introducing timecode-based commenting. Users will also be able to index and search for jobs via an enhanced jobs page.

Metadata management will feature prominently in the next update of Portal, specifically single-instance metadata fields. Portal users will be able to display one metadata field on several subgroups, an especially useful feature for those managing separate content with the same access rights.

During the show, Mike Szumlinski, Manager North America, Cantemo, will be speaking in a session exploring the use of artificial intelligence for better management of video content on April 11th in room N256.
