State of the Industry: After a Challenging Chapter, What Comes Next?
To say that the past 15 months have been challenging would be a grave understatement. From the total cancellation of sports to highly restricted production environments to a crossover season unlike anything anyone has ever been a part of, professionals in college-athletics video production have burnt the candle at both ends. What have we learned, what does the future hold, and in what ways has the industry been changed forever?

EVS Case Study: Automating Live Camera Positions in College Basketball Productions, Featuring the University of Oklahoma
For college basketball productions, more cameras means more opportunities to enhance the storytelling of a game. However, while extending the camera coverage is a great way to increase viewer engagement, it also increases operational costs. To overcome this challenge, production teams can choose to automate key camera positions, by integrating a solution built on EVS' AI-driven Overcam autonomous system and the ShotTracker sensor-based system. In this case study, EVS will demonstrate how how basketball venues equipped with ShotTracker can make use of a single EVS Overcam system to drive PTZ cameras simultaneously from a wide range of positions and assignments including center court wide, tight, slash, high-behind, reverse and more.

Nestor Amaya, EVS, VP, Solutions Architecture, The Americas
