Antenna Hung ria has commenced technical trials of what is considered to be the world's most advanced digital terrestrial television service. It is working with UK industry pioneer Dr Arjang Zadeh and Azdio's mediaClass product division along with sister company Liberate AI to launch the service across Hungary.
The new service will offer a wide range of capabilities including DTT broadcast and IP Linear TV, catch up TV, re-start TV, VOD, AVOD and SVOD as well as advanced multi-tenant functionality. Tenants will be able to connect multiple billing systems seamlessly to the platform. The mediaClass OTT solution supportsTV Platform as a Service (PaaS) operation, setting a new bar in advanced DTT services.
Machine-learning technology from Liberate AI allows tailored ad insertion for linear TV, VoD and catch-up across all devices including TV, tablet, mobile, and TV web portals. The system also provides search and recommendation services to customers, based on the Liberate AI machine-learning platform.
The new platform supports advanced dynamic user interface generation on all devices, based on mediaClass' advanced Content and Operational Management. mediaClass uniquely provides all elements of a TV platform including an advanced packager, multi-DRM, OTT backend, CDN plus apps for devices and a TV Web portal. Antenna Hung ria plans to launch the full service in December.
