Working Mother Names Turner as one of the 2018 100 Best Companies September 25, 2018
NEW YORK, NY -Working Mother revealed its annual list of the 2018 100 Best Companies today, celebrating companies that lead in the areas of female career advancement, paid parental leave, childcare assistance, benefits and flextime. Turner was among the 100 companies that earned a spot on this year's list. This is Turner's 16th consecutive year on the list.
Turners benefits are often touted externally as best in class, says Angela Santone, executive vice president and global chief human resources officer. Under Santone's leadership, Turner has created several corporate initiatives to invest in employees and make Turner more competitive in recruitment and retention including Matching Grants, Volunteer Release Time and Make You Matter Week, a week-long global series dedicated to our employees personal and professional development.
One program Turner offers is Start a Family Your Way which provides financial assistance to employees pursuing surrogacy, adoption or in vitro fertilization services. The company also enables women to achieve a better work-life balance including flexible work arrangements and financial assistance for dependent, child and pet care. For Atlanta-based employees, the company offers Turner Second Generation (TSG), a child care center that provides affordable care for children from six weeks old to pre-kindergarten.
In addition, Colleen Sullivan was named Turner's 2018 Working Mother of the year. Sullivan, a senior associate director for Turner Sports, credits the company's family friendly policies with helping her manage her responsibilities as a working mom, especially for her son who has special needs.

About the Methodology
The 100 Best Companies application includes more than 400 questions on leave policies, workforce representation, benefits, childcare, advancement programs, flexibility policies and more. It surveys the availability and usage of these programs, as well as the accountability of the many managers who oversee them. All applicants receive feedback showing how they compare with other applicants; however, the names of applicants that do not make the list are kept confidential. Company profiles and data come from submitted applications and reflect 2017 data.
