The inaugural Hallelujah Arts Festival is set to take Cape Town by storm between 25 and 27 November. The three-day event will be hosted by Hanover Park-born talent Jonathan Rubain and will take place at the Good Hope Christian Centre in Ottery. There will be appearances from several Mzansi stars including comedian, Marc Lottering.

ABOUT THE HALLELUJAH ARTS FESTIVAL The Hallelujah Arts Festival will feature gospel, jazz and spiritual dance as well as comedy shows and praise and worship. The three-day festival will kick off on Friday 25 November with a spiritual dance show directed by Lauren George of Prophetic Dance Ministries.
On Saturday 26 November, festival-goers will be treated to a praise and worship session, led by award-winning gospel musician, Dumi Mkokstad. There will also be a performance from American artist Justin-Lee Schultz, who will be supported by Kyle Shepard (keys), Don Vino (saxophone), Cameron Ward (guitars), Jonathan Rubain (bass) and Keith De Bruyn (drums).

Comedian Marc Lottering will be performing his first Christian comedy set on Sunday 27 November. The Hallelujah Arts Festival will end with a Pinkster concert with artists like Jonathan Rubain, Pastor Roland Miggels, Kurt Coetzee, David Jantjies and many others.
JONATHAN RUBAIN ON HOSTING THE THREE-DAY FESTIVAL Jonathan Rubain, best known for his television show Koortjies Met Jonathan, will be hosting the three-day Hallelujah Arts Festival. Over the years, Rubain has hosted several successful festivals including the Hanover Park Jazz Festival.
The 38-year-old said it has always been a dream of his to host a Gospel festival and next year, he hopes to take it to Pretoria, Gauteng.

There are all kinds of festivals happening around the country but hardly Gospel festivals. I aim to reach the young and the old at this festival, said Rubain.
