Betriebsrat und Gesch ftsleitung vereinbaren Restrukturierungsma nahmen am Standort Wuppertal

Gesch ftsleitung und Betriebsrat der Schaeffler Technologies AG & Co. KG haben sich ber die Eckpunkte eines Zukunftskonzepts f r das Werk Wuppertal geeinigt, mit dem Ziel, den Standort mit wettbewerbsf higen Kapazit ten sowie optimierten Organisations- und Kostenstrukturen zu sichern. Ein abschlie ender Interessensausgleich soll Anfang Dezember unterzeichnet werden.
Die von beiden Seiten getragene Vereinbarung sieht vor, das Werk Wuppertal auf eine Besch ftigtenzahl von rund 1.000 Mitarbeiterinnen und Mitarbeitern auszurichten. Damit werden am Standort Wuppertal bis Ende 2015 insgesamt rund 500 Besch ftigte abgebaut; das ist ein Abbau von rund 250 Besch ftigten weniger als urspr nglich geplant. Aufgrund der bestehenden berkapazit ten wurde ein kurzfristiger Abbau von 226 Arbeitspl tzen beschlossen. ber die seit Juli 2013 bestehende M glichkeit freiwilliger Aufhebungsvertr ge mit zus tzlichen Abfindungen haben bereits Mitarbeiterinnen und Mitarbeiter das Unternehmen verlassen. Dieses Angebot wird bis Ende des Jahres fortgef hrt. Ab Februar 2014 wird den betroffenen Mitarbeiterinnen und Mitarbeitern die M glichkeit angeboten, in eine Transfergesellschaft zu wechseln. Die weiteren Arbeitspl tze werden im Zeitraum bis Ende 2015 nach M glichkeit ber sozialvertr gliche Ma nahmen wie Altersteilzeit, freiwillige Aufhebungsvertr ge und nat rliche Fluktuation abgebaut. Aufgrund der akuten Besch ftigungsproblematik k nnen die Mitarbeiterinnen und Mitarbeiter, die ihre Ausbildung im Jahr 2014 abschlie en, nicht bernommen werden. Grunds tzlich bekennt sich die Gesch ftsleitung jedoch ausdr cklich zur Ausbildung, die am Standort auch in reduziertem Umfang fortgef hrt wird.
Mit dem vereinbarten Gesamtpaket sind wir in der Lage, die notwendigen Restrukturierungsma nahmen weitgehend sozial abzufedern. Wir sind zuversichtlich, dass die vereinbarten Restrukturierungen und Ver nderungen es erm glichen, den Standort Wuppertal zu sichern und zukunftsorientiert auszurichten, so Rudolf Lenhart, Mitglied der Gesch ftsleitung Schaeffler Industrie.
Zus tzlich zu den Personalma nahmen haben Gesch ftsleitung und Betriebsrat ein Ma nahmenpaket vereinbart, um die Personalkosten zu reduzieren und die Produktivit t des Standorts durch definierte Kennzahlen wie Qualit t, Wertsch pfung und Liefertreue zu verbessern. Bestandteile sind zudem ein neues Entgeltpr miensystem sowie die Flexibilisierung ber Arbeitszeitkonten und flexible Schichtmodelle, die eine bedarfsgerechte Einsatzplanung erm glichen. Gesch ftsleitung und Betriebsrat haben sich zudem darauf verst ndigt, in enger Abstimmung ein weiterf hrendes Zukunftskonzept f r den Standort zu erarbeiten, das organisatorische ebenso wie strukturverbessernde Ma nahmen inklusive neuer Investitionen f r das Werk vorsieht.
Aufgrund der unver ndert schlechten Nachfragesituation f r Gro lager leidet das Werk Wuppertal der Schaeffler Technologies AG & Co. KG unter einer zu niedrigen Auslastung und hohen berkapazit ten. Die Gesch ftsleitung hatte im April 2013 die Belegschaft ber den Personal berhang und die notwendigen Restrukturierungsma nahmen informiert und mit dem Betriebsrat Verhandlungen aufgenommen. Die in Wuppertal produzierten Gro lager werden insbesondere in der Windkraft sowie in der Schwerindustrie eingesetzt.
