M nchen, den 13. Juni 2017 - Die international agierende Marktforschungsberatung BDRC hat in ihrer Er ffnungsumfrage Media GPS die Gewohnheiten und Trends unter 9,9 Millionen w chentlich international Reisenden ermittelt. Betrachtet man weltweit die Mediennutzung von Business- und Freizeitreisenden, liegt CNN in den Ergebnissen deutlich vorne.
Bei der Umfrage wurden international Reisende einbezogen, die entweder ber ein Online-Reiseb ro, in einem station ren Reiseb ro oder ber ein Gesch ftsreisemanagement-Unternehmen buchten. ber 50% der Befragten nutzen CNN sowohl im TV als auch digital als Informationsquelle w hrend ihrer Reisen.
Damit liegt CNN vor der BBC, die auf 43% kommt, oder dem Sender CNBC, dessen Wert bei 27% liegt. Mit insgesamt fast 42 Millionen internationalen Trips und 63 Millionen Hotel bernachtungen j hrlich und einem Umsatzvolumen von 1,7 Milliarden Euro pro Jahr zeigt die Studie, dass die CNN konsultierenden Business- und Freizeitreisenden ein kaufkr ftiges Publikum sind. Zudem wird in der Media-GPS-Umfrage deutlich, dass CNN seine F hrungsposition auch bei f r international Werbetreibende besonders interessanten Zielgruppen ausbaut: Business Influencer (CNN: 58%, BBC: 49 %, CNBC: 32%), Topentscheider (CNN: 59%, BBC: 49%, CNBC: 32%), Spitzenverdiener (CNN: 60%, BBC: 50%, CNBC: 32%) und h ufig international Reisende (CNN: 58%, BBC: 52%, CNBC: 29%).
Diese Studie ist eine interessante Abkehr von traditionellen, abfragebasierten Umfragen.
