Versa Studios opens new London facility, Manchester and Leeds to follow

London has welcomed another new studio facility to the capital.

Versa London officially opened its doors at the end of November as it played host to ITV show Walk the Line.

The facility includes a 10,000 sq ft studio space and a further 20,000 sq ft of fully accessible ancillary space including full production galleries, VIP dressing rooms, green rooms and productions offices.

The facility is located in West London, close to both Garden Studios and the recently announced RD Studios.

Both will have full broadcast gallery provision and house production offices and workshops.

Versa Studios said its studios facilities network that will see a combined 330,000 square foot of new, high-spec studio space, as it aims to provide a national network of studio infrastructure with city centre connectivity, all with high tech, top-end Covid-19 safety spec, available to the TV and film industries.

Executive director of Versa, Charlie Ingall said; We are very happy to be opening Versa London Studios and with such a high profile show as Walk the Line to kick us off. Our aim was to build best in class facilities, serviced by experienced operating teams and I believe we have achieved that.

It's been a tough 18 months for the industry, but we are proud to be at the forefront of providing the much-needed COVID secure facilities that film and TV needs in order to bounce back bigger and stronger than ever before.
