Rickus a victim?! 7de Laan' fans call for justice for Shawn [watch] 7de Laan' viewers are not pleased about Shawn's death and after last night's emotional episode, they are demanding justice!

7de Laan viewers want Chris and Mariaan Welman to pay for what has happened to Shawn Basson. While their son Rickus is technically the one who killed Shawn fans feel he's a victim too.

CHRIS AND MARIAAN'S PART IN SHAWN'S DEATH Both Chris and Mariaan had been going on at Rickus about Shawn ever since the paternity saga with Lana. They were prepared to go to any length to make sure he was the father of Lana's baby

After realising he had killed Shawn, Rickus called his parents for help. Having gone down this road before, Chris and Mariaan knew just how to take care of it.

Chris rushed over to remove Shawn's body from Rickus' apartment and then took a long drive to try and make sure no one would find his body.

Rickus begged his parents to tell him what they did with Shawn's body, but they refused. They knew he wouldn't be able to keep his mouth shut.

Chris and Mariaan made one mistake though just before Rickus pulled Shawn to his apartment for a little chat, he had shoved his cellphone in his briefs while joking with Emile.

HEART-WRENCHING SCENE: DEWET FINDS SHAWN'S BODY After having called Shawn's phone multiple times, his father, DeWet, decides to track it. The location picked up that he was in a strange area in Krugersdorp and immediately DeWet knew something was not right.

Telling Lana and Emile to wait there in case Shawn returned, DeWet set off to look for his son in Krugersdorp.

The 7de Laan episode ended with DeWet arriving at the location late at night, searching in the dark for his son. Hearing the phone ringing, he finds Shawn's body covered in dirt

WATCH THE SCENE 7DE LAAN' FANS CALL FOR JUSTICE FOR SHAWN Fans refuse to let the Welmans get away with this. 7de Laan scriptwriters better have a whopper of a twist coming that ends the Welmans or fans are going to find another show to watch.

Even though Rickus killed Shawn, some viewers feel his anger was mainly fuelled by Chris and Mariaan. This has some viewers feeling a little sorry for the mess that Rickus is now in.

I know it's just a soapie, but 7de Laan you had me crying like no tomorrow, this scene hit home so hard. Rickus, Shawn and Dewet your acting is on point. For a moment it felt like reality. Sad to see Shawn leave he was a genuine sweetheart.

Surely they can't get away with this? After all, it was a tragic accident. Shawn gone, and I suppose Rickus will also run away

They are running out of storylines. And actors. Why are we still watching? De Wet deserves an Oscar for his acting skills!

7de Laan was very nice to watch, until Mariaan came in, she would get away with what she did, it wasn't even Gita or Sandra like she was, when is Mariaan going to jail for what she did.
