Freefly Signals Grow with New Facility, Staff Additions and Lower Prices for MoVI Camera Stabilizers

Freefly Systems, known for professional next-generation camera stabilization, announces it has upgraded its manufacturing facility, added to its team and reduced prices on its M VI stabilizers.

Due to the industry's enthusiastic adoption of the groundbreaking M VI systems and accessories, the company has moved to new headquarters in Woodinville, Washington with a larger, state-of-the-art manufacturing facility. To incorporate future technological advances, the company has added specialists in R&D and manufacturing, along with Patrick Williams as its new CFO/COO. To better interface with dealers and grow the brand, Steve Westover helms marketing as the new Director of Marketing, and Daniel Roe is the new Director of Sales and Business Development.

Since the introduction of the M VI, we have focused on satisfying the overwhelming demand for the MoVI, says Tabb Firchau, President of Freefly Systems. With the recent growth of our business and the manufacturing economies of scale that come with higher volume, we are now able to offer the technological innovations of the M VI stabilizers at exciting new price levels. We hope this allows filmmakers of every scale to perform the creative camera moves that can only be accomplished with a M VI.

The M VI M5, for cameras weighing up to 5-pounds/2.27 kg, is now priced at $3,995 and the M VI M10, for loads up to 12-pounds/5.5 kg, has an MSRP of $7,995. The recently announced M15 (for 17-pound/7.7 kg payloads), due to ship this fall, is priced at $11,995. Freefly also recently delivered the new M VI Controller and will soon enhance its line of aerial systems.
