L ngerfristig ist vorgesehen, alle Sicherheitskontrolllinien am Flughafen mit der neuen Technologie auszustatten.

Die Flughafen Z rich AG testet zwei R&S QPS201 Sicherheitsscanner. Diese werden an zwei der insgesamt 26 Passagier-Kontrolllinien im Sicherheitskontrollgeb ude eingesetzt. W hrend der Testphase ersetzen die neuen Ger te nicht die herk mmlichen Metalldetektoren, sondern dienen als zus tzliche Kontrollinstrumente. Passagiere stehen kurze Zeit im Sicherheitsscanner, m gliche Bedrohungen am K rper werden auf einem digitalen und standardisierten Avatar angezeigt, ohne pers nliche Merkmale zu offenbaren.
Der Sicherheitsscanner von Rohde & Schwarz punktet durch eine marktf hrende Sicherheits-Performance bei gleichzeitig hoher Effizienz und intuitivem Ablauf f r Passagiere. Der Scanner arbeitet mit Millimeterwellentechnologie. Er anonymisiert und analysiert die erfassten Bilddaten, um verbotene Gegenst nde an Passagieren schnell und pr zise zu detektieren. Die automatische Erkennungsfunktion basiert auf KI-basierten Algorithmen, die darauf abzielen, bei extrem niedrigen Fehlalarmraten eine breite Palette von Objektklassen aller Materialien, wie Metalle, Fl ssigkeiten, Keramik, Kunststoffe, Granulate, Pulver, organische Stoffe und vieles mehr, zu identifizieren. Dies reduziert den Aufwand des Sicherheitspersonals f r manuelle Nachkontrollen.
Diese Technologie von Rohde & Schwarz bew hrt sich in der Luftfahrtindustrie seit 2015. Mittlerweile sind bereits ber 1.000 Scanner an Flugh fen weltweit im Einsatz. Sie verf gen ber die Zulassung der Europ ischen Zivilluftfahrt-Konferenz (ECAC), der US-Transportsicherheitsbeh rde (TSA) und vieler weiterer nationaler Beh rden.
