The Cricket World Cup, the Lionesses and Wimbledon. The summer is awash with exciting sport and its all kicking off at ICG too.
Our team has been helping support the launch of the Fylde Sports Awards 2019, which opened for nominations this week.
The community awards - now in their 10th year - recognise people, clubs and organisations that go above and beyond in sporting activities and achievements.
ICG decided to get involved after winning the Active Workplace title last year, and as part of our 25th anniversary celebrations.
Our design team created eye-catching sponsorship information and we contacted local companies to generate support as well as increase awareness through PR and social media.
Thanks to ICGs help, the event has received official sponsorship for the first time - with two silver sponsorship opportunities still available.
Miller Homes North West is the headline sponsor while Ride, a Lytham based spin studio, and Your Gym, a state-of-the-art gym also based in Lytham, are also sponsorship partners.
The extra funding will help organisers create a glittering awards ceremony on November 8th 2019 at the Glendower Hotel in St Annes with BBC Radio Lancashire presenter John Gilmore as compere.
Earlier this week, ICGs PR Manager Paula Holden joined Edyta Paxton, Sport and Health Co-ordinator at Fylde Council, to talk on BBC Radio Lancashire.
Nominations close on Monday 5th August 2019 and the winners of the Fylde Sports Awards go on to represent their district at the Lancashire Sports Awards.
