Matthews Studio and Hollywood Camera/Bertone Visuals have joined forces to present the newest in MSE camera support at NAB 2014 Booth #C5437. All MSE camera support equipment will carry the newest in 4K cameras provided by Hollywood Camera.

FloatCam 's DC Slider, the multifunction camera platform that combines an unusually long variable-angled camera slider track with mini-jib functionality can also transform into a vertical 6-foot town. No matter how radical the angle, the DC-Slider assures steady and stable camera movement. FloatCam's DC-Slider will carry the new Canon 1DC.

FloatCam's HD-DC Slider provides all the functionality as the traditional DC-Slider including the same counterbalancing feature but will handle much larger cameras without compromising stability and performance. HD-DC Slider will carry the RED Epic.

FloatCam's HD-DC Slider will be paired with the Makalu Motion Control Suite, a new light-weight remote head for live action, time lapse and visual effects cinematography. The user interface is a multi-axis jog box connected via wi-fi to an iPad mini. This setup allows the user to have precise control of the head and to configure it for a variety of applications with minimum components. It will allow record and playback moves, key frame camera positions and create automatic and manual smooth fits with them, and run these moves at different camera speeds. The set up will also carry the RED Epic.

Matthews Slider, an extremely sturdy and lightweight platform with an open frame construction is both operator and grip friendly. It can work upside-down for low-angle shots, can support more than one carriage for A-camera and B-camera shots. It comes in three basic sizes, 29 , 35 and 45 . Fully assembled the system will accept any gear head/fluid head combination. It comes complete with Mitchell swivel base, Mitchell carriage, Mitchell 2 riser and other accessories. The Matthews Sliders will carry the Sony f65 Package and the Canon C500 Package.
