FUJIFILM Medical Systems at World Veterinary Congress World first presentation of high sensitive in-house POCT analyzer

The Medical Systems division of FUJIFILM Europe will participate at World Veterinary Congress (WVC), which will be held in Prage, Czech Republic, from 17 to 20 September 2013. At the occasion of the congress the company will show a new and innovative laboratorial solution for veterinary clinics and hospitals, giving continuity to the strategy of the Medical Systems division in developing advanced solutions for animal health.
At WVC Fujifilm will present a high sensitive in-house Point of Care Testing (POCT) analyzer, under the name of FUJI DRI-CHEM IMMUNO AU10. The new device allows customers to peform immunological tests in a very simple operation and with immediate results.
The FUJI DRI-CHEM IMMUNO AU10 will be presented worldwide for the first time. The system will be on display during the WVC congress in full operation. More details, including availability in Europe, will be disclosed at the time of congress opening.
We have big expectations with this system, due to our newly developed detection technology, ensuring high sensitivity and the immediate results which this equipment can provide. The introduction of this system is a clear signal from Fujifilm to become a high quality solution provider for the VET market says Pedro Mesquita, New Business Development Manager IVD at FUJIFILM Europe.
FUJIFILM Europe Medical Systems business is mainly focused on diagnosis support, such as x-ray, endoscopes, ultrasound and blood analysis, as well as providing medical-use picture archiving and communications systems (PACS) that can promote the efficient use of diagnostic images. The addition of FUJI DRI-CHEM IMMUNO AU10 is a logical development and good contribution to the European VET market says Pedro Mesquita.
