Viewers of e.tv's fashion drama House of Zwide will be pleased to know that the show's villainous character Faith Zwide will finally get arrested this season when her husband Funani enlists Isaac's help to trap her into confessing to his first wife's murder and keeping Ona's identity a secret.

INSIDE FUNANI AND ISAAC'S TRAP The House of Zwide season one trailer which was released by the channel this week shows Funani's wife Faith visiting Isaac in jail and asking him to take the fall for Ona's mother's death.

The teaser also shows Isaac revealing to Faith that he was recording their conversation before Funani and a police officer stepped in and arrested her.

Viewers will also see Funani kicking Faith (Winnie Ntshaba) out of his mansion and throwing her clothes out before the jail scene.

Funani surprised viewers this season when he activated his dark mode and kept Ona's DNA results and his investigation a secret from his wife.

He also kept Ona's DNA results a secret from everyone including his son, Nkosi who assisted him in finding out that Ona (Nefisa Mkhabela) is his sister Zobuhle Zwide who was kidnapped by Isaac Molapo (Jeffrey Sekele) twenty years ago.

The TVSA House of Zwide July teasers indicate that Funani (Vusi Kunene) will confront Isaac about Ona being his daughter on Wednesday, 13 July and their heated argument will end deadly after wrestling with a gun.

The TVSA Wednesday 13 July reads:

Funani's quest for the truth ends in a deadly confrontation with Isaac.

The Thursday 14 July reads:

Isaac and Funani get into a tussle and the gun is fired. The truth is out and Funani confronts Faith in front of Rea.

Fans of the show will be glad to know that Isaac will not die after his heated confrontation with Funani.

HOUSE OF ZWIDE': THE END OF FAITH Faith will try to save her skin when her husband confronts her about Ona being Zobuhle Zwide, the daughter kidnapped in the fire twenty years ago.

The Friday 15 July teaser reads:

A desperate Faith tries to survive by putting all the blame on Isaac but Funani is on to her.

Ona will be devastated to learn that her father Isaac betrayed her by keeping her biological father from her.

She'll also be glad to know that she got her design talent from the man she's always admired, Funani Zwide.

Entertainment commentator Phil Mphela revealed on Twitter that the show has been renewed for a second season after pulling an average of 4 million viewers a month.

TVSA also reveals that the second season will begin next Monday, 18 July!
