Canon will showcase its all-encompassing professional imaging range at the 2018 Media Production Show, including the newly announced EOS C700 FF for the first time in the UK. The Canon stand (412) will also feature the new CN-E20mm T1.5 L F lens, the latest reference display line up and full suite of EOS cameras as well as talks from DoP Ricky Patel on his recent experience of shooting with the EOS C200.
Announced earlier this month, the flagship Cinema EOS C700 FF enables filmmakers to capture filmic images with unprecedented low noise, natural skin tones, shallow depth-of-field, and a broad ranging tonality that exceeds 15-stops of dynamic range thanks to a newly develop and next generations full frame 38.1 mm x 20.1mm CMOS sensor and up to 5.9K recording capabilities. The camera includes multiple recording formats, both externally and internally, which helps high-end production houses, broadcasters and cinematographers with the smooth integration into existing workflows while it enhances process versatility.
In addition to the C700 FF, Canon will also display it's full range of production cameras like the EOS C200 as well as its high-end lenses including the new CN-E20mm T1.5 L F, and professional reference display monitors such as the DP-V2421 and DP-V1711.
Mahogany DoP Ricky Patel will be on stand to discuss his latest experience with the EOS C200. Ricky chose the camera to shoot a music video for Alfa Mist, taking advantage of the camera's advanced AF system and 4K shooting to create the video.
Canon will demonstrate these products, and more, on stand 412 at the Media Production Show, Olympia West Halls in London on the 12th and 13th of June, 2018.
