We're very excited to announce that we have successfully won our third tender in under 18 months with Italian state broadcaster, RAI. RAI have joined leading broadcasters around world including ITV, who recently used over 30 Anova PRO's on hit show Dancing on Ice, as well as BBC and Sky as the light of choice on various television productions. RAI's new Rotolight AEOS kits will join their existing collection of Anova PROs, AEOS two-light kits and NEO 2 three-light kits, totalling 225 lights overall, and are being utilised both in studio an on location in the production of news, dramas and documentaries worldwide.
RAI sought state of the art LED lighting technology and Rotolight's award-winning product range was the leading choice; delivering unique benefits on set. Rotolight offers a range of industry-first features to enhance creativity on set including AccuColour technology resulting in outstanding colour reproduction (CRI 96, TLCI 91) reducing time in post-production. For drama and film production, the Rotolight range comes equipped with CineSFX ; a suite of built-in, customisable lighting FX (fire, lightning, TV, etc.).
RAI had incredibly strict technical requirements for their LED lighting kits. Having evaluated several lighting manufacturers, the Rotolight Anova PRO, AEOS and NEO 2 kits were found to represent the very best in terms of value, quality and functionality all-in-one. Mauro Turchetta, sales manager for BluTek, one of the leading broadcast integrators in Italy who specialise in the supply chain of new media and post-production equipment.
RAI will be using their Rotolight LEDs in their Radiovision studio, and on productions worldwide in offices spanning across Cairo, Beijing and Moscow, as well as throughout Italy and Germany.
