NEM, the European technology platform dedicated to the creative digital industries, appoints new Board Ver nica Buey, adjunta a la direcci n del Cluster ICT-Audiovisual de Madrid, ocupar la vicepresidencia.
NEM, la plataforma tecnol gica europea dedicada a las Industrias Creativas Digitales, ha nombrado a la nueva Junta Directiva que trabajar durante los pr ximos dos a os.
Ver nica Buey, adjunta a la Direcci n del Cluster ICT-Audiovisual de Madrid, ostentar el cargo de Vicepresidenta de Interacci n de Clusters. Jean-Dominique Meunier, Technicolor (presidente); Judy Parnall, BBC (vicepresidenta de Relaciones Institucionales; y Pierre-Yves Danet, Orange (vicepresidente de Estrategia) completan la nueva directiva.
La plataforma NEM es una de las nueve plataformas tecnol gicas europeas del sector TIC. Est dedicada a la intersecci n entre tecnolog a e industrias culturales y creativas, llamadas Industrias Creativas Digitales. Est compuesta por m s de mil socios de toda Europa, agrupando grandes empresas, pymes, centros de I+D, universidades, clusters, organismos p blicos, clusters, aceleradoras y asociaciones empresariales.
Estas plataformas (ETPs por sus siglas en ingl s) est n promovidas por la propia industria y reconocidas por la Comisi n Europea como comunidades de actores clave que colaboran para impulsar la innovaci n, la transferencia de conocimiento y la competitividad en Europa.
Las ETPs desarrollan Agendas Estrat gicas de Investigaci n e Innovaci n, as como estudios e informes sobre temas espec ficos, y planes de acci n a nivel europeo y nacional que puedan ser apoyados tanto por financiaci n p blica como privada. Organizan eventos, foros y jornadas que fomentan el intercambio y la colaboraci n, y en definitiva, movilizan a las partes interesadas para cumplir con las prioridades acordadas y compartir informaci n a trav s de la UE. Todo ello con el fin ltimo de acelerar el desarrollo y la innovaci n de sectores emergentes de gran potencial de una forma armonizada y fruct fera y colocar a la industria europea a la vanguardia de la era digital.
El Cluster ICT-Audiovisual de Madrid es una asociaci n privada sin nimo de lucro que promueve la innovaci n y competitividad de las Industrias Creativas Digitales, asesorando y apoyando a sus socios en la creaci n de proyectos innovadores, acceso a financiaci n, nuevos modelos de negocio e internacionalizaci n.
Ver nica Buey es licenciada en Direcci n y Administraci n de Empresas por la European Business School y M ster en Gesti n Cultural por la Universidad Complutense de Madrid. Anteriormente desempe diversos cargos como responsable de marketing y desarrollo de negocio en PwC, UBS Private Bank y KPMG. Desde 2008 es Adjunta a la Direcci n del Cluster ICT-Audiovisual de Madrid.
Como vicepresidenta de interacci n de clusters de NEM representar a los clusters y asociaciones empresariales del sector y se encargar de promover la colaboraci n de esta comunidad a nivel europeo.
