Structured to inform and challenge, each day of the three-day conference addresses a pertinent issue - The Changing Digital Landscape; Experiences, Opportunities and Challenges; Driving Innovation and Creativity in a Connected World - providing an intriguing mix of keynotes, panel discussions, case studies and debates, coupled with unparalleled networking opportunities.
The primary purpose of IBC Content Everywhere MENA is to develop meaningful dialogue on convergence: posing and answering the questions and challenges that face both the regional and the wider global marketplace. It aims to empower those attending to understand the differing approach of telcos; the impact on traditional operators and how telcos are meeting the challenge of high-profile OTT video providers by investing in their own content divisions. It will discover whether the Future of Broadcast TV standards activities are getting close to defining a single global broadcast standard; the expectations and implications of 5G initiatives. These issues will sit alongside the opportunity to learn about innovation and opportunities presented by new technology on news and the news business.
