This Morning returns to Liverpools Albert Dock for one show only to celebrate 25th Birthday
On Thursday 3rd October This Morning's hosts Phillip Schofield, Holly Willoughby, Eamonn Holmes and Ruth Langsford will celebrate its Silver Anniversary by returning to its original Liverpool location for a mix of surprises and guest appearances - including original hosts Richard Madeley and Judy Finnigan during the live two hour programme.
The multi-award winning show will also bring back its infamous floating weather map for the occasion with prankster and friend of the show Keith Lemon. Viewers will still be able to get in touch with the show via its Hub presenters who will have The Hub on a Sub' and present live from a yellow submarine boat.
In recognition of the milestone, This Morning will also launch a new campaign called Take a Moment' from Monday 9th September aiming to inspire viewers to complete a small act of kindness and give something back to their local community. Other ITV shows and celebrities will be on board to show what they have done and for the first 50,000 acts of kindness submitted, the Government will donate £5 per act. The grand number of people involved and total money raised - for ITV's Text Santa charities - will be revealed during the anniversary show.
Since the show launched in 1988 at Liverpool's Albert Dock This Morning has become one of ITV's biggest and longest running brands that has remained original in format packed with showbiz interviews, real-life case studies, latest fashion trends, soap gossip, tasty food recipes and constant interaction with its viewers.
This Morning's Executive Producer, Miles Jarvis said, The team have worked incredibly hard on the plans for this exciting event and we hope all our viewers will enjoy being part of it.
This Morning's Editor, Adam Vandermark added, Our whole family of talent are really excited about this special anniversary show there'll be plenty of surprises and memories shared - and it's going to be extra special returning to where it all started.
