Eurocom Broadcast integrates for the Cuban Radio Rebelde a mobile radio unit The new mobile allow Cuban radio station perform live and record or produce concerts or music events.

Eurocom Broadcast just delivered to the Cuban Radio Rebelde a mobile unit. Sprinter vehicle designed on a double cab chassis and 5,000 kilos, the new mobile unit has been carrozada by Tecnove by GRP sandwich panel with aluminum inner structure and acoustic insulation in walls, floor and techo.De this way, unit is ready to use in any weather condition throughout the Caribbean country.

The new mobile will allow Radio Rebelde radio perform live and record or produce concerts or music events. It also has two radio links AEQ Arrow Model 50T sending the live signal to the central studios where two Arrow 50R are also manufacturer AEQ.

Two areas of work

La UM cuenta con dos zonas de trabajo. Por un lado, Eurocom ha dise ado un habit culo acondicionado ac sticamente para poder realizar programas de radio en directo. Este locutorio cuenta un sistema de aire acondicionado con regulaci n independiente e iluminaci n led regulable. Tiene capacidad para 4 personas (2 locutores y 2 invitados) y comunicaci n visual con control t cnico mediante visor ac stico de doble acristalamiento.

Each speaker has a headphone control with gain control, where they will receive the program signal, and orders. In the room there are two Kroma monitors, which are used as reference video during the program and receiving signal Kramer video matrix. The unit allows monitorar independently air signal a prompter, a signal PC, or an outside line. As for the microphone (Shure) It is mounted on telescopic arms with elastic suspensions and anti-pop systems, allowing to capture sound with the best possible sharpness.

Another area of the unit is the technical control. This acoustically conditioned space has capacity for 2 people (1 technician audio and 1 director). Eurocom has two consoles integrated audio, one D & R Airmate 8 channels for voice overs and programs in the parlor of the unit itself, and a console Yamaha QL-1 for small musical events and concerts.

For production of great significance, the unit also counts as auxiliary equipment with a Yamaha QL-5 and a RIO3224-D, which by DANTE protocol and through a fiber connection, communicates with the unit, giving it a huge capacity production. As additional equipment, Eurocom has provided a mobile 15KVA genset manufacturer Grupel, mounted on an auxiliary carriage. This equipment allows to provide power to the unit in places where there is no chance to get it. The unit also features a three-phase voltage stabilizer with automatic phase control and 3kVA UPS system.

Radio Rebelde station founded in 1958 by Ernesto Che Guevara, Currently broadcasts throughout the country 24 hours a day an essentially informative programming and national and international live and delayed sporting events. The rest of the schedule is open, and make six magazines live.
