Prominent Streaming Media Companies Announce New IPTV Solution for Over-the-Top Service Providers 12 Sep 2013
Acutek Solutions, Dune HD and RealNetworks, Inc., have developed a new comprehensive solution for Over-the-Top (OTT) content providers building Internet Protocol Television (IPTV) services. The new solution will be unveiled at IBC2013. This fully-compatible system allows companies to immediately benefit from the fast-growing segment of IPTV and OTT content delivery in consumer, hospitality, education and corporate markets.
The new solution combines industry-leading Helix encoding and media servers from RealNetworks, interactive middleware from Acutek Solutions powered by Beenius, and high-performance set-top boxes from Dune HD into a comprehensive system designed to reduce the time and cost of distributing digital content for IPTV and OTT services. Broadband providers, content aggregators and hospitality organizations are just some of the industries to benefit from the robust and fully integrated broadcast grade solution.
One of the primary drivers for this new solution is the need for companies to quickly expand into the rapidly growing IPTV and OTT markets. To meet market demand, the solution can be up and running in just 90 days and is available worldwide.
