Asegurar la satisfacci n del abonado con una arquitectura tan compleja requiere una vigilancia de QoE y QoS en m ltiples puntos de la red para asegurar que el contenido es de la calidad adecuada y que la red de suministro es realmente capaz de entregarlo al espectador. En esta l nea, Tektronix desvel en IBC 2016 las mejoras para la monitorizaci n end-to-end en entornos de ABR (Adaptive Bit Rate) con soporte para SENTRY.
Las soluciones Tektronix Sentry est n ampliamente extendidas y se utilizan para proporcionar QoE (calidad de experiencia) y QoS (calidad de servicio), junto con la informaci n PVQ (Perceptual Video Quality) a los proveedores de servicios de v deo. Con la adici n de la funcionalidad de desencriptado y decodificaci n, Sentry ABR ofrece a los proveedores de servicios un control tan amplio y profundo como al que est n acostumbrados con servicios basados en televisi n lineal como se muestra en el siguiente diagrama de flujo.
Despu s de la transcodificaci n en un flujo de trabajo ABR t pico, el flujo de v deo se divide en fragmentos de duraci n de tiempo fijo, despu s, la informaci n es encriptada y se aplica la gesti n de derechos digitales (DRM). Sentry ABR es ahora capaz de ver este contenido encriptado para evaluar la experiencia de visi n real, as como la determinaci n de PVQ.
Tektronix Aurora
A medida que la industria se mueve m s hacia ABR (Adaptive Bit Rate) para la entrega de todos los servicios, la cantidad de contenido de v deo que a comprobar crece r pidamente. Chequear un alto volumen de peque os archivos de diferentes bit rates es especialmente dif cil. Ah es donde Tektronix Aurora ofrece un control de calidad r pido y escalable basada en archivos y pruebas espec ficamente dise ados para captar las causas m s comunes de problemas en streaming con ABR.
Cuando se utiliza Aurora junto con el player de precisi n de frame Hydra, se obtiene la capacidad de visualizar el contenido y cualquier problema detectado en el mismo. Trabajando con ambas herramientas se tiene la posibilidad de revisar o a adir informaci n para los responsables de la producci n de contenidos ABR.
A partir de la versi n Aurora 6.2 se incorporan interesantes mejoras como el PVQ (Perceptual Video Quality) y la posibilidad de virtualizaci n del producto.
La plataforma Sentry se utiliza para detectar la QoS (Calidad de Servicio), anomal as en la red en las capas IP y MPEG TS, as como en la QoE (calidad de la experiencia), la identificaci n de los problemas que representan la mayor parte de las llamadas de los abonados incluyendo congelados de video, tiling/macroblocking, interrupciones de audio o problemas de sonoridad. Dentro de una red con ABR, Sentry ABR se utiliza para asegurar la disponibilidad de contenido y proporcionar un an lisis integral QoE en cada flujo para cada tasa de bits en tiempo real.
