Apantac Launches Cost-Effective UHD Multiviewer at NAB 2017Apantac, provider of cost-effective multiviewers, video walls, extenders, and signal processing solutions will launch the latest in its affordable and fully featured video Multiviewer line, the award-winning Mi Series. The new MX-32-4KDP is Apantac's latest UHD Multiviewer solution and is debuting at NAB 2017, booth N5906.
The MX-32-4KDP allows users to monitor up to 32 independent sources, which can include UHD / 3G Level A&B / HD / SD / SD-SDI inputs and provides a UHD DisplayPort output up to 3840x2160 resolution.
The DisplayPort output means that users can take advantage of UHD monitors that support the DisplayPort 1.2 interface, which is now widely available and extremely cost-effective. This provides a solution for broadcast and AV professionals to utilize the feature set of a multiviewer on a 4K/UHD display. Each multiviewer window can now be four times the previous resolution. Display Port is a display interface that is an alternative to HDMI. DisplayPort 1.2 is capable of displaying 4K/UHD resolution up to 4096x2160, RGB 10 bits, at 50/60 Hz.
As part of the Apantac Multiviewer family, the MX-32-4KDP includes a custom on-screen display for complete layout flexibility to show audio meters, custom view labels, overlays, tally indicators & UMD and the ability to resize and position each window independently.
Whether you are monitoring incoming feeds in a control room or displaying & monitoring live multi-camera production for sports & events, Apantac multiviewers provide a full featured solution at an affordable price.
Apantac will showcase the new UHD Multiviewer at NAB booth N5906, which will drive a high quality 65 display showing the full feature set of this new solution.
